看了上段介绍我觉得这应该只是人家迷信的一种说法吧,没有具体的深刻含义

经过楼上的解释，我觉得是不是：如果你想长寿，就不要杀生。

很多人讨厌(dislike/hate)或害怕(be afraid of)蜘蛛，但是自古以来，蜘蛛一值被当成很吉祥的动物。着句话是一个古老的歌谣(nursey rhyme)

大意是：如果你想活的好，就放蜘蛛一条生路。

如果你杀了一只蜘蛛便会招来不幸---大概是在以前卫生状况很差的时代里，蜘蛛是唯一能减少(keep down)苍蝇数量(the population of flies)的生物，而苍蝇又是疾病的传播者(carry sickness)。
