My friend Peter finds maths very difficult.He wants meto let him copy my homework.I wann to refuse because I think it`s dishonest,but I don`t want Peter to get into trouble with his parengts.They have warned him about not working hard .And he does work hard---it`s just that he doesn`t understand the work.

In my opinion, if you wanted to help Peter, you'd better not just let him copy your homework. Instead, you can help him to solve the problem. For example, tell him how to do the homeworks on maths, and teach him the principles of maths which he doesn't know. Since you are friends, I'm sure you won't let him fall. Just try to help him to make progress. Maybe this will cost you some time, anyhow, it worths the price. And if you succeed, your friendship will grow deeper.
