This article will cover a threefold discussion: 1. Jiang Zeming's recognition of the importance of the Yellow River; 2. Jiang's realization of the existed problems of the Yellow River; and 3.Jiang's proposals on treating the River. I expect, by doing this, to help develop some theoretical understanding on the treatment of the Yellow River.
