我的家乡是福州，福州是一座坐落在中国东南沿海的福建省的省会城市。
福州虽然是一座有着2200多年悠久历史的历史文化名城，但是并不像北方许多大城市那样规模很大，我想这也许跟地理的原因有分不开的关系吧，因为福州四面环山，连临海的东面也被形似大鼓的山峦所包围了，它被称作鼓山，每个天气好的造成，总有络绎不绝的人群到那里进行晨练。福州的水主要是福建的母亲河——闽江，城内大大小小纵横交错的河流，比如晋安河、白马河都与她是联通着的。由于福州的气候原因，以榕树为市树的福州四季常青，就绿化在全国来讲，做得还算不错的。几个重要的十字路口，都是因为千年的古榕树而在很久以前就形成了。而座落于城内的西湖公园、左海公园，以及市郊的国家森林公园，更是给人一种被自然环抱的快感。
福州是一座历史文化名城，出过林则徐、严复，冰心，林觉民，沈葆桢，很巧的是，他们的家都在被称作“三坊七巷”的地方，所以也有人说，那里是福地中的福地，真正人杰地灵的地方。但出了坊巷，大街一样喧哗，让人有恍如隔世之感。

Although Fuzhou is a famous city which has been develop for 2200 years in the history, it's not that big as some city in the north. I think this is due to the geography location of FuZhou, Because of the mountain surrounding this city,even the east part which is near the sea is blocked by a mountain which is like a big drum. This mountain is named Gu Shang (drum mountain). Every morining, if the weather is good, there are lots of people do the morning exercise. The water we use if come from the mother river of Fu Jian -- ming jiang (ming river). All the other rivers across the city such as Jing An river, Bai Ma (white horse) river, no matter big or small, are connected to this river. Due to the weather of Fu Zhou which has banian as its city plant, this city is always green all the seasons. It's not to bad according to the afforest.
