would have beens 的意思及其用法

看下面这个例子：
If you had left earlier, you would have been able to catch the bus.

而实际的情况是此人并没有早一些离家，所以也没有赶上巴士。would have been/done通常是用于对过去实际没有发生的事情进行虚拟，用于非真实性条件从句。

当然，有时根据需要，在推测并不肯定的情况下，would一词可以用could, might等表示不定成分更大的情态动词替代：

If you had left earlier, you might/could have been able to catch the bus.

这种情况下，巴士司机的时间观念可能并不是那么明确，所以可能早早的就把车开走了，赶上巴士的可能性便小了。
