帮我体会一下这两句

我的父母不全是老师，我妈妈是高中老师，我爸爸是工程师。第一句更好。因为它更明确，更直接明了

第一句比较好一些。我认为第二句的either要改为neither，否定的时候用neither。而且第一句也比较书面。

第二句有些问题，你好像没有把意思说正确。我想出来下面的说法，供你参考
My parents are not both teachers; my mother is a high school teacher while my father an engineer.
not both 否定二者都是。

Neither of my parents is a teacher. My mother is a high school teacher and my father is an engineer.
首先，逗号是不能用来连接两个完整的句子的
其次，每必要用but，因为这里没有转折的必要
再次，要用neither，用either的话不合逻辑

neither 不是“两者都不是”吗？原句没错，改了反而错误！！
不过我也还是觉得第一句好一点；毕竟有"but"的存在，前面用否定的话使整句更和谐一点~~~~
