Here the details of our method:
10 g of SODIUM HUMATE
Diluted in glass beaker with 200 cc of deminarilized water (at room temperature) and stir for 3 hours. (magnetic stirrer)
Centrifugation at 3500 rpm for 10 min'
Separate the top liquid part (to be used for concentration and shade/hue test)
Wash the insoluble with 50 cc. distilled water (twice) pouring the insoluble on a pre-weighed filter paper.
Vacuum-extract excess water.
Put filter paper and insoluble matter into lab oven at 105°C for 2 h.
Put into exicator and let to cool to room temperature measure, dry, cool and measure repeatedly, until you get two times the same result with less than 0.001g difference, then record the weight of insoluble matter in water.
