本次设计的数据采集系统主要由单片机(AT89S52)、模数转换芯片（MAX153）、串行通信芯片（MAX232）、温度传感器（DS18B20）等组成。可实现对温度、正弦波、方波等波形信号的数据采集，测量正弦波、方波等波形信号的频率和峰峰值，并能够在PC机上显示当前温度、频率和峰峰值等功能。
本系统利用Protel 99进行硬件设计，通过KEIL 51集成开发环境运用C语言编写程序，编译后通过自己做的下载线把编写好的程序下载到单片机中，反复对设计的程序进行调试，直到硬件调试成功为止。运用VC++语言设计一个简单的界面能够显示采集到当前的温度和输入信号的峰峰值与频率。
