摘要：余华的《活着》，为我们展示了一幅从四十年代到文革几十年中国社会历史生活的画卷，也让我们看到了在那个特定的历史条件下，每个人的精神生活都被挤压到了最低限度，“人是为活着本身而活着，而不是为活着之外的任何事物所活着”。作者对此表现出了极大的人文主义关怀，关注人，表现人，对苦难的同情，对生活的希望，并启迪人们去思考人生的意义和价值。本文试图站在人文关怀的角度上对作品中主要人物的性格命运和形成原因、活着的意义及价值、《活着》与现实的联系进行分析。
