There are two results. Evan returns to the beginning of his first sight with Kayleigh, he speaks rudely to her, she feels afraid and leaves him. He loses his sweetheart. He gives her a better future. The film ends up in the music of Oasis’s --Stop Crying Your Heart Out. This is the theater version.
The direct editing version is that Evan is back to his birth, he kills himself when he is still a foetus. Kayleigh can’t know who is Evan and she should leave her rude father. She will have a happy life.
