one... , the other...用来指示两个事物。
another一般是值三个以上的事物中的一个，
other是一个形容词，指“其他，别的”的意思，加the后是指“两个中的另一个”

the other 另一个 就两个 这个…… 那个 用 the other 特指

another 另外的 又一个 泛指
other 其他的
