fot的用法 for和to的区别

两者在意思上有相近的地方，主要区别在这两个介词后面所有接的词性：for一般接名词（或者动名词）,to是接动词原形
for sth/for sb to do sth/for doing sth
to 作介词的时候是to do sth

It is important for me to finish it.
It is time for lunch.

I would like to eat them.
