A 用过去分词做被动式来当后置定语。

过去分词做定语 被动

现在分词做定语 主动

不定式做定语
a problem to be solved

find sb. do 发现某人经常作某事
find sb. doing 发现某人正在做某事
find sb. done 发现某人被怎样
eg;The girl found her house broken into when she got home.
区分使用动词不定式，过去分词，现在分词的方法，可以看动词使及物还是不及物动词。
一、及物动词后面一定要有宾语，没有宾语的话就变成过去分词，如：1.We saw the children (seated) in the reading room.2.We saw the children seating themselves in the reading room.这句话中，seat 是及物动词，后面有宾语因此就用现在分词形式表示主动，与themselves 构成动宾结构
二、不及物动词没有过去分词形式，而且后面绝对没有宾语。如：We saw the children sitting in the reading room.
三、动词不定式主要表示目的，或将来时
如：We got up early to catch the first train.
