选receive还是选accept?另一空选another, the other,还是选other?

另外我在上海译文出版社1985年7月新2版,1989年4月第13次印刷的《新英汉词典》（增补本）第1111页中看到receive的第3个词义为“接受；接纳；承认”，例句为He would not receive her as his son's wife.

accept the other
前一个的原因是因为receive是收到的意思,而accept是接受的意思,这里需要的意思是接受,所以应该填accept
后一个是说不要让别个主动和你谈话,而前面已经提到这个人,就是说对话的有两个人,而其中的另一个人就要用the other,因为着了已经确定范围是对话的两个人中的一个

1、 accept
“accept”解释为“接受”，可以是一件实物，也可以是一样抽象的东西，一种方式等等。是一个主动的行为，主观上接受。譬如“accept cheque payment”表示可以以支票方式付款；“accept one's explanation”表示认可某人的解释、说明；“accept your sorry”接受你的道歉。
“receive”解释为“收到”，一般有具体的东西。通常是一个被动的行为。譬如“receive a letter/parcel”收到一封信/一个包裹；“receive a phone call”接到一个电话；“receive a gift”收到一份礼物。

2、other
the other 用在已经确定范围的两者中的另一个，且使用时一般会在上文中提到其中的“某一个”(one)，然后是“另一个”(the other)
another 表示另外一个，通常是没有提起过的，没有范围限定的，或者是所谈论对象范围以外的。譬如在挑选某物品时，你在看了一些样品后说“show me another one”表示在你所看范围内没有你满意的；再譬如“when I spoke to him, another person came in”（当我和他说话的时候，有其他人进来了），这个人可以是任意的人。
other 就是“其他”，一般也没有范围限定，但是使用时一般会在前文有所涉及，即大家都知道指代的是哪个具体对象。如本文中就是指“someone whom you'd like to speak to”
