因为cooked 是过去式 ～如果回答cooked会显得重复
did可以指代一切过去动作

过去时态
用do是习惯用语

例如：Who closed the Door？
回答：I did.

谁关的门？
英语习惯回答：我做的。

中国式的回答：我关的。

时态用过去式没有问题吧？这件事情肯定是已经有人做过的了

Who cooked the supper yesterday ?
My mother did .
完整的回答是“My mother cooked the supper yesterday.”，这里用“My mother did.”是省略的用法。这里”did”替代了”cooked the supper yesterday”这个动作．

did代替前一句的cooked ，在英语中还有很多类似的代替比如说Her handbag is beautiful.
Lily has the same one.
这里one就代替了上句的handbag.

就是动词do的过去时啊.

由my mother cooked the supper yesterday.
省略到my mother did it.
再到my mother did.

DID表示她已经做过的事情啊
