第一个THE用得对吗还是要省略？
为什么？请举例说明下。

最好省略，不过telephone前的也一起省略。表示泛指某一类事物。

Banana is a kind of fruit.泛指香蕉，不是特指哪一个香蕉。
The banana served was imported from Brazil.特指这次提供的香蕉。

可有可无

两个the都不能省略，因为是特指elctronic mail 和the telephone。
