Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0在2.0的基础上,新增了很多功能,其中主打:
WCF（Windows Communication Foundation）,WWF（Windows Workflow Foundation）,WPF（Windows Presentation Foundation）,Windows CardSpace. 当然SQL Server , IIS 7.0,BizTalk2006的发布,将搭建一个强大的MS开发平台.

Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0之前被称作是WinFX，是一个新的Windows托管代码编程模型。它结合了.NET Framework 2.0的优势，并融合了许多新技术，使得编写更好的用户体验、无缝的与其他技术交互、支持广泛的商业处理等变的容易。
