赫尔墨斯之鸟乃吾之名，噬己翼以驭己心

这句话出自欧洲十五世纪最重要的炼金术文献--The Ripley Scroll。即瑞普利卷轴。部分学者认为，这是世界上最早的炼金术文献。在这个卷轴中，作者用诗体记录了炼金术的步骤。
