过去时的问题

请看这一句：

我的分析：
The city 是主语
ensures 是谓语
the necessary administrative and cultural cohesion of people 是宾语
who have a very strong sense of harmony with the nature born in their distant viking past and proudly cultivated throught out the years
是定语丛句
born in their distant viking past and proudly cultivated throught out the years 是harmony的定语丛句，关系代词that省略。
但born应该是过去时啊？这里怎么不用过去时？

好像不对，born in their distant viking past and proudly cultivated throught out the years 不知是什么成份？that做宾语时才用省略。这里如果是harmony的定语丛句that做主语。
另born的过去式是borned吧？
终于有点明白了，born是一个形容词：天生的，也是bear的过去分词，bear是一个动词，是支持、忍受、生小孩的意思born in their distant viking past and proudly cultivated throught out the years 是一个过去分词短语修饰harmony。这里的born是bear的过去分词。
