no sooner...than:

一...就...

no sooner had he arrived home than he turned on the TV
他一到家就打开了电视

前面用过去完成时，后面用过去时
弄明白了其实发现很简单的

No sooner had mother come back than she found the TV was left open.
妈妈一回家就发现电视机开着。

no sooner跟先发生的动作，因为否定词在句首，后面倒装.
有时两个都用过去式也可以。

引导时间状语从句,主句用过去完成时,"than"后面的从句用一般过去时.(从这里可以知道,no sooner后面是主句;than后面是从句)
