请问这些用法中的AS是做连词还是关系代词，为什么IT可以省略。类似的用法请再造几个句子。

为什么第一句AS WE KNOW后没有IT，而第二句有，而且第二句书本上说因为AS做连词，所以IT不可以省略，那么为什么第一句却没有IT呢

第一句。Professor Smith是人。所以不应有it.而且你不可以把他们拿来比较。因为一个是人。第二句那个物。（剑桥的意思）所以才加it来特指它的。
