You are at the mercy of the CBSA officer.

First, take Air Canada. They will reject your boarding if they are not satisfied with your PR Card.

Second, once arrived in Canada, the CBSA officer does not have the rights to deny your admission.

They have to let you in, but will issue you a court hearing at the Immigration and Refugee Board for the judge to take away your status.

It is not difficult for you to enter Canada, but you will have trouble maintaining your status.
