Tom 是（逻辑）主语，因为这句句子就是在讲他
a fat boy 是定语，因为它是一个词组，但却用来形容一个名词，所以在句子里面充当定语
go to the beach “介词后面加宾语”，按照这个说法，to 就是介词，它后面的the beach 就是宾语
in a week 做状语，因为，你记住，状语=介词+宾语 ，在中文里面，也是这么定意的

例句2：What makes them happy is that they won the match.
that 引导的从句，在is 的后面，充当表语。但是He is a bad boy .一句中，没有从句，a bad boy 就是宾语了。
