我看到一句话
right down to her favorite pair of sandals
但这里RIGHT DOWN我不清楚是什么意思
和这个词组有什么作用,一般用在哪种情况

不是什么词组，
他们很喜欢用down啊up啊off啊之类的加在一些词后
比如也可以说right up
down只是个方向的概念，他最喜欢的拖鞋不是在下面吗
如果是hat 的话说不定就用up 了。

有强调的意义，可以译成“就是”。

She couldn't have forgotten them, I knew too well that she took great pride in her shoe collection, but there they still were, right down to her favorite pair of sandals.
