To clean up the office is your work for today中的“for”可否去掉？哪种写法好？
Today it's your duty to clean up the office.
这样的翻译不是更恰当么？我看楼上哪个句子感觉怪怪的。
而且肯定不要加for的！
我觉得可以去掉
不过加上也有道理
强调是”今天”的工作
不可以去掉
For表示对于（今天）
不去比较好!
你的句子本来就有语病，不要for 这个句子才正确的。或者你可以写成：It's your duty today to clean up the office.
