the others 另外的。
从中文意思就可以看出为什么不选D了. the others 一般 用于前面有前提分成两部分,例如:
These two boys are playing basketball, and the others are playing volleyball.
这里就要看究竟哪个是主语了.句子的主语是no one属于第三人称,but his parents是补充说明而已,不作为谓语的参考因素.如果想多了解,请看主谓一致的内容.
