鹳鸟迁巢

子游作武城宰时，城门外的土墩上住着的鹳鸟，忽然把巢窠搬到一个坟墓前面的石碑上去。看守坟墓的老汉就把此事告诉了子游说：“鹳鸟，是种能够预知天将下雨的鸟。它突然把巢搬到高处，说明这一带要发大水了吧？”子游说：“知道了！”他立即命令城里人都准备好船只等待大水的来临。
过了几天，果然大雨成灾，山洪暴发，城门外的那具土墩被淹没，雨还是下个不停，水涨得都快淹没了那坟前的石碑。鹳鸟的巢眼看要被冲走，鹳鸟飞来飞去地悲鸣，不知道跑到哪里去安居才好。
子游见此景况叹息说：“可悲啊！鹳鸟虽有预见，但可惜考虑得不够长远！” 。。。
