我知道“more than one+n.”的意思是“不止一个……”做主语的时候，谓语动词要用第三人称单数形式：
More than one boys knows how to play the computer game.
那么
There "are" more than one boys in the room.中的are是are还是is呢？

用is,而且你写错了，是“more than one boy”

There is more than one boy in the room.

随便呀！你想用“are”能行！想用“is”也行！语言这东西就是约定俗成的，没有什么规定可言的。
