martin gansberg 介绍,谢谢

Martin Gansberg was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1920 and died in 1995. He worked at the New York Times for forty-three years as an editor, writer, and book reviewer. Gansberg is best remembered for his March 1964 article, "38 Who Saw Murder Didn't Call the Police," on the murder of twenty-eight year old Kitty Genovese, a work that illustrated the indifference of Genovese's neighbors despite her cries for help. The article quickly gained national recognition, earning Gansberg a plaque for excellence from the Newspaper Reporters Association of New York.
