我在2006年2也正式首次在美国的学校上学.面对陌生的环境和语言不通等等压力和恐惧,我向困难低头了.我感觉自己在美国的学校里和在中国的学校里的境遇完全不同.我觉得自己完全力不从心,于是我放弃了,我放弃了一整个学期.因为我觉得,无论如何,这个新的环境对我而言太难了.在我放弃学业的这期间,我的朋友和我谈了很多,多次鼓励我重新为学业而努力."如果你现在放弃了,你就等于放弃了你的一生."他们是这么说的.于是我醒悟了,在接下来的学期里,我再接再励,找回了我过去努力向上的精神.成绩飞速进步,在12年级的6门学科里拿到4科EXCELLENT.而且积极帮助老师和同学,还被同学们一致推举成为了Francis Lewis HS 中国同学会的会长,带领全校中国同学进行各种活动.因此再次得到更多老师和同学们的赞许和认同.我有信心在接下来的日子里做得更好.
