　　Robert Charles Rech of Darien died Tuesday, June 20, at the Richard R. Rosenthal Hospice Residence in Stamford after a one-year battle with brain cancer. He was 42. Born May 30, 1964, in Abington, Pa., he was the son of Jane Wehner Rech and the late Philip C. Rech. Mr. Rech was a graduate of William Penn Charter School in Philadelphia and played football at Dartmouth College. Mr. Rech was a managing director of Ferghana Partners Inc., an investment banking firm.

　　He coached his son's flag football team in Darien for two years and was a supporter of his sons' athletic and scholastic activities. mHe is survived by his wife, Ola Rech and two sons, Philip Charles Rech II and James Henry Rech, all of Darien; two brothers, Philip D. Rech of Laurinburg, N.C., and John Zurn of Brookville, Md.; and six sisters, Marianne Zurn of Northam
