Isaac Newton
Newton was a passionately religious man in a time of great scientific discovery. He wanted to know how God’s universe worked. His quest for answers gave us many important discoveries. These include the law of gravity and a new explanation of color and light.
Newton also developed three laws of movement. These explained how objects move on Earth and in space. Newton truly revolutionized science by explaining the physical world in mathematical terms. This helped to make many of our modern scientific discoveries possible.
