英语简单语法问题

这里用的是过去进行时， was walking , (was) following her
这句话要讲述过去发生的一件事， 这件事是一个过程， 也就是说 讲述一个 过去正在发生的事。

判断时态不能光看动词， 还要看他们的助动词和be动词。

There was a woman walking in the street. She did not noticed a boy following her。
两个分词短语作定语，分别修饰woman 和boy.
= There was a woman (who was )walking in the street. She did not notice a boy (who was )following her。

there be ...doing
notice sb doing

这两个都是过去进行时，表示的是在过去这个时间点正在进行的动作。

there be+somebody+doing
那是notice吧,did not后接原形
那语法现象就是notice+somebody+doing

是指过去那个时间正在进行的事情啊！
