college 和 school 的区别

学院的翻译方式中有 College of xxxx 和 School of xxxx两种.虽然一般需要用这些名词的时候,有官方的命名抄过来就行了.但我就是希望搞清楚这两个名称的差别是什么? 明白的过来,灌水的不要.

简单的说,

college 是综合性学校的意思 包括了 intermediate 和high school

但在美国 college 是大学的意思

school 是学校的统称

如果是学院的话,应该用college,这个比较专业.
