''台湾在中国的东面''怎样翻译?(用in,on还是,to)??

其实这句话有原则性错误，台湾是中国的一部分，应该这样说

台湾位于中国东部（包含在内）
Taiwan lies in the east of China.

或者

台湾位于大陆的东面（不包含）。
Taiwan lies to the east of the mainland.

正确的汉语应该是：“台湾在中国的东部”。如果说“台湾在中国的东面''，那台湾岂不成独立于中国之外的国家了？

英语为：Taiwan is in the eastern part of China.
或 Taiwan is in the East of China.

不能说：Taiwan is to the East of China.因为这句话的意思是：台湾在中国的东面（即台湾和中国是两个国家）。

楼上的millionarehuan也是这个意思。

in 坚持一个中国的原则

Taiwan is on the east of the mainland.

P.S 不能说台湾在中国的东面，台湾在大陆的东面！台湾是中国的一部分啊，要么你说在中国东部还好！
