When an order is initially placed with eToys, a temporary authorization for the full amount of the order is placed on the card to verify that funds are available to make the purchase. This temporary authorization cannot be removed by with eToys and initially appear to be a charge on your card but it simply authorizes the amount of the purchase. Because your order was cancelled, no charge will appear on your credit card statement. The temporary authorization may still appear on your card and if you would like this authorization removed, please contact your card company directly.
