你可以记成固定搭配，有两点：
一 a thousand ＋复数名次 例如 a thousand teachers ，two thousand students，使用这种用法时thousand后面不能加s 切记

二 thousands of ＋复数名词，并且 thousands 前面不能加数词
没有a thousand of 或者five thousands of 这种用法
hundred ，million 这些词和thousand用法一样

上诉题目中把A 答案改成a thousand就行了。B答案 把two去掉也就行了

A答案并不是像楼上说的 there are 中的“are”问题，一千本来就代表复数

A。 a thousand of
是用在单字上， “There are” 意思是有一个以上， 所以， “a thousand” 不能用。

B two thousands of
没有thousands， 只有thousand。

只能说a thousand,two thousand,或者thousands of,在英语中没有a thousand of或two thousands of这种搭配。而且，当thousand与数字搭配时，其后不能加s表示复数。
