UC知道为什么我电脑512MB的内存变成256MB的了?

我的电脑原是512MB的内存,可用了两年多后却发现变成256MB了.这分明就是少了一条内存.
我拆开机子看,两条内存有些灰尘,我随便擦了擦,再开机又变回512MB了,可用了两天,再开机又变回256MB了.
这是怎么回事?
真让我百思不得其解?
