(A) Observing external features
(1) Fix a mouse on thedissection plan with tapes and observe it. Find out its sexuality.

(2) Observe and feel thethorax and the abdomen. Observe the four appendages including thumbs and nails.Observe the mouth, the nose, the ears, the penis and the anus.

(B) Observing the internal structure
(1)Using a dissecting scissor, cut a longitudinal incision from its preputial openingto its neck. Then we peel off its skin, this time we will observe its organsthrough a transparent film and cut off this film.
(2) Cutalong the incision through the rib cage and collar bone to make thymus andheart visible.

(3)Cut off the redundant muscle and heart to observe the trachea, lung andbronchus.

(4) Turn over instead of excising the liverand we will see the stomach under it. Try to separate the small intestine andt
