instead of 后面跟许多形式,动词,名词,动名词,不定式,等等.至于跟什么要取决于前边的形式,因为它后面的形式要跟前面的形式一样.如:
I like watching TV instead of swimming.
I will go to see a film instead of to watch TV.

介词后面可以接名词、代词和动名词，这里应接doing.
