on the way to 是在去XXX的路上,不指明某一个人,比如说On the way to school, I saw a dog.这里的I换成是别的人称也可以.

on one's way to是某人在去XXX的路上,句子一定要前后对应,比如On my way to school, I saw a dog.这里I就不可以换成别的人称了

on one's way to表在去...的路上,如:I am on my way home.我正在回家的路上
the way to去...的路,如:This is the way to our school.这条路通往我们学校
