The birds is are on the tree

The birds is are on the tree这一句话有错吗？我是在练习册上看到的，似乎是不对，但是又不知道错在哪里，请各位指点一下

错处：
1.birds是复数，不应该用is，应该用are。
改正方法：
去掉is。
2.on是在树之上，而鸟是在树枝上的，在树叶里面。所以应该用in，而不是用on.
改正方法：
把on改成in.
正确句子：
The birds are in the tree.

正确的是The birds are in the tree
鸟是复数，所以用are，不能用is
鸟在树上，固定词组是in the tree
