pieces 后面跟可数名词单数还是复数。

不可数名词的单数
2 pieces of paper

可数名词的复数
2 pieces of notes,
不过这一种通常可以直接说2 notes

问：那两块巧克力用piece怎么表示阿！不应bar！是two pieces of chocolate，还是chocolate。谢谢！

chocolate 不可数，所以是
2 pieces of chocolate

楼上所说的pieces of a dream 含义已经不同了，有碎片的意思。这样当然可以用单数了，比如 pieces of a card, of a photo......

chocolate在书面语中仍趋向于不可数，但在口语中也有混用。这就象sugar，你认为它可数吗？但喝咖啡的时候问你的一定是how many sugar...回答也是two sugars please..因为现在用的糖都是已经量化了的小袋装。
所以，你要一定说two pieces of chocolates可能也能去和别人理论，但我仍倾向于two pieces of chocolate，要不干脆就two chocolates

问：不用two songs. 用pieces!表示是two pieces of song 还是songs. song也可以做可数名词和不可数名词！

恕我愚钝，我从来不知道two songs是错的。现在我也不认为这样不对，我也不知道song在什么时候是不可数的。。。说实话，语言这样学未免累点了。。。。

比如一个音乐组合就叫做: pieces of a dream
