Traditional Chinese society was one in which people did "not worry about poverty,but rather about the uneven distribution of wealth."
"Not worrying about poverty"implies not caring if society is poor and weak;"worring about uneven distribution" means fearing that others are better off than someone himself or herself.
请问句中为何不是no worring与no caring？因为worring about..是个名词性词组，不应该用not来修饰啊？

worring about..尽管是个名词性词组，但它毕竟是来自于动词worry about，因此它是动名词短语（尽管起名词作用），动名词是非谓语动词的一种，非谓语动词的否定用not而且要放在前面。
His not coming home early worried his parents.
当然也有no doing的结构，这主要是句型所致：
There is no telling when he will be back.他什么时候回来还不知道。（即：没说）no doing这种情况一般只用于there be句型。
No worry , No cry是一种口语的说法, 到这就完了, 后边不再跟其他内容. 不是
No worrying... 或者 No crying. ...
书面语言中.Not worrying about.... 是一个完整句子, 如果你在考试或者书里读到了, 就写 not worrying就对了.
no worry, 只有在上边口语的时候才用.
"Not worrying about poverty"的原型其实是people did "not worry about poverty，请注意这里面的引号哦，那是对people did "not worry about poverty的引用。为了避免重复和句式的结构优美（跟not caring对应的 ），则把people did省去.用no也是可以的，但意思就稍稍变了点，韵味也差了点，而且整个句式也没有用not工整。
句子也是可以用主语从句的：That people did "not worry about poverty implies not ........
我看了半天，也觉得应该用no
