not (ony) ,but(also)是固定搭配，不仅。。而且
如果去掉，not就是否定词，句义就变了

没有but also不行。
not just(only)...but also...构成一个句型，不但...而且...

错倒没什么错 就是不太舒服

现代口语中，这样的说法是可以接受的，没错！
