Similar data-acquisition networks for solar radiation monitoring have been described elsewhere

monitoring and control is required. The advantages

The use of this system together with the serial-communication program eliminates the need to enter monitored data manually into computer files for analysis, and the computer for controlling the DAS is not dedicated to the system.
