The director of Arreon Carbon said: “According to projection, by using the coal gas from blast furnace of Shanghai China Steel to generate power, the No.4 generator system shall reduce Co2 emission by 1.5 million tons annually, or an accumulation of 600 million tons from 2008 to 2012.”
Carbon Swiss company has said that: "in accordance with expectations, on the 4th unit of the China Steel blast furnace gas power generation, carbon dioxide emission reductions could reach 1.5 million tons per year, from 2008 -2012, the total will be reduced by 6 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions."
