就是把后面一句话改成正常的陈述句语序，疑问词还是在前面，然后注意前面一句话的时态，把后句的时态根据前句的莱进行更改就是了

It was hard to say whose book it was?

1.Amy asked John that how many apples are there on the desk.

2.It was hard to say whose book it is.
