我个人认为：

cure意为治愈。fail to do意为做......失败。有时，其实也用fail in doing sth.其中in可以被省略，这里我认为选B也不为过。
mixture为名词，混合物，mix为动词。整个句子可译为空气是个气体混合物。C前方be动词是is,后方却成为gases，不对。D后面少个连接的with.
plenty of固定搭配
home是副词，记住它前面不会有to
反问句。完成时态，和前面保持一致
