摘要：失地农民，既有别于务农农民，又不同于城市居民，这样的弱势地位使他们享受社会养老的权益被忽视。本文通过对荣昌县北部新区失地农民的调查中发现失地农民的征地补偿低、投保能力差、就业困难等因素是造成他们无法参加社会养老保险的重要原因，针对这些原因，提出完善失地农民养老保险的相关建议。
